5 Steps to custom-made frame

While some projects we work on are much more complex, a standard picture frame usually consists of these five components which Framehub always makes to order. Framehub now offers custom ordering of these picture frames online!
STEP 1
Frame Enhance or complement your artwork with the ideal frame moulding. We offer an extensive range of materials and colours to suit any kind of preference and decor.
STEP 2
Glazing ( Glass ) Protects your artwork. We offer various types of glass and acrylic for added UV light protection and some with anti-reflective properties for exceptional clarity.
STEP 3
Window Mat Decorative but also protective, the window mat prevents damage of artwork from adhering to the glazing and buffers it from atmospheric fluctuations. Play with different materials, colours, border sizes and thicknesses to best enhance the look of your framed art.
STEP 4
Base Mat Your artwork needs a rigid and sturdy backing that holds it securely in place. It is also an additional layer to buffer and protect your art from atmospheric fluctuations.
STEP 5
Frame Backing Board Framehub prefers Corflute or 3/5mm plywood to seal and protect the rear of the framed artwork against potential harmful atmospheric pollutants and insect attack.
